- Bleeding: This is the most significant risk. Minor bleeding such as bruising at the injection site is common, but more serious bleeding can occur. - Thrombocytopenia: Although less common than with UFH, it can still occur and should be monitored. - Allergic reactions: Rarely, patients may develop hypersensitivity reactions. - Injection site reactions: Pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site can occur.
