To be eligible for the RNC-NIC certification, candidates must meet specific requirements. These include having an active RN license in the United States or Canada, and a minimum of two years (or equivalent) of experience in a NICU setting. Furthermore, candidates must have accrued at least 2,000 hours of direct patient care in the specialty area.
