Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) is a surgical procedure primarily aimed at treating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring. The procedure involves the removal of excess tissue from the throat, including the uvula, part of the soft palate, and sometimes the tonsils.
