Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a collective term for chronic inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, primarily including Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These conditions cause prolonged inflammation, leading to damage of the GI tract and a host of debilitating symptoms.
