The high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) is a type of respiratory support that delivers a high flow of heated and humidified oxygen through nasal prongs. It is used to treat patients with acute respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other conditions requiring respiratory support.
