What are the Signs of Compromised Neurovascular Status?
Signs of compromised neurovascular status include:
Increased pain despite pain management. Changes in skin color, such as pallor or cyanosis. Weak or absent pulses distal to the injury. Numbness or tingling in the affected area. Inability to move the affected extremity. Cool temperature of the skin compared to other areas.
Immediate intervention is required if any of these signs are present to prevent permanent damage.
