Can a Nurse Work Anywhere with a Temporary License?
A temporary license is state-specific, meaning it only allows the nurse to practice within the issuing state. It does not grant the nurse the ability to practice in other states, even if those states participate in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Nurses must apply for separate temporary licenses if they intend to practice in multiple states.
