To be eligible for AMCB certification, candidates must have completed an accredited midwifery education program. This generally includes graduates from nurse-midwifery and midwifery education programs accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). Additionally, candidates must hold a relevant degree, such as a Master’s or Doctoral degree in midwifery or nursing.
