The Bundle of His, also known as the His-Purkinje system, is a key component of the cardiac conduction system. It is a collection of heart muscle cells specialized for electrical conduction that transmits the electrical impulses from the atrioventricular (AV) node to the point of the apex of the fascicular branches via the bundle branches.
