Symptoms of eosinophilia depend on its underlying cause. Many patients may remain asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. However, symptoms can include rashes, itching, breathing difficulties, abdominal pain, or weight loss. Chronic eosinophilia can cause damage to organs, especially if the eosinophils infiltrate tissues, leading to conditions such as eosinophilic esophagitis or hypereosinophilic syndrome.
