Turn on the AED and follow the voice prompts. Expose the patient's chest and apply the adhesive electrode pads. Ensure no one is touching the patient while the AED analyzes the heart rhythm. If advised, press the shock button to deliver the shock. Immediately resume CPR if instructed by the AED. Continue to follow the AED's instructions until professional help arrives.
