The CCNE evaluates nursing programs based on four primary standards:
Mission and Governance: The alignment of the program’s mission and goals with the institution’s mission. Institutional Commitment and Resources: Adequate resources and support for the program. Curriculum and Teaching-Learning Practices: The curriculum's ability to prepare students for nursing practice. Assessment and Achievement of Program Outcomes: The program’s effectiveness in achieving its stated outcomes.
