Hemostasis: This initial phase involves blood clotting to stop bleeding immediately after injury. Inflammatory Phase: Characterized by redness, heat, swelling, and pain, this phase involves the body's immune response to clear out bacteria and debris. Proliferative Phase: In this phase, new tissue and blood vessels form, and the wound begins to close. Maturation Phase: Also known as the remodeling phase, this final stage involves the strengthening and reorganization of new tissue.
