What are the Eligibility Criteria for Joining Sigma?
Membership in Sigma is by invitation only and is based on academic achievement. Undergraduate nursing students must have completed half of their nursing curriculum, rank in the upper 35% of their class, and have a GPA of at least 3.0. Graduate students must have completed one-quarter of their program and have a GPA of at least 3.5. Nurses who are not students but have demonstrated exceptional achievement in nursing can also be eligible for membership through a Nurse Leader application.
