What Are the Common Foot Problems Faced by Nurses?
Due to the demanding nature of their work, nurses are prone to several foot problems:
Plantar Fasciitis: Inflammation of the tissue that runs across the bottom of the foot. Bunions: A bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of the big toe. Blisters: Caused by friction between the shoe and the foot. Calluses and Corns: Thickened areas of skin due to repeated pressure or friction. Heel Spurs: Calcium deposits causing a bony protrusion on the underside of the heel bone.
