Despite the importance of EEO, several challenges persist in the nursing field. One major challenge is implicit bias, which can influence decision-making processes unconsciously. Another challenge is the underrepresentation of certain groups in leadership positions, which can perpetuate a cycle of inequality. Additionally, there may be a lack of resources or support for EEO initiatives, making it difficult to implement and sustain effective programs.
