Despite their effectiveness, ACTs face several challenges. The cost of these therapies can be prohibitive in low-resource settings, and counterfeit drugs remain a significant problem. Additionally, the potential for resistance is a continuing concern. Nurses must be vigilant in advocating for access to genuine medications and educating communities about the dangers of counterfeit drugs.
