How Often Should Postoperative Checklists Be Used?
The frequency of using postoperative checklists depends on the type of surgery and the patient's condition. Generally, checklists are used:
Immediately after surgery in the recovery room. At regular intervals during the first 24-48 hours post-surgery. Daily or as needed until the patient is discharged from the hospital.
