How is the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) Used?
The MUST is a five-step screening tool that includes: 1. Measuring BMI, 2. Assessing unintentional weight loss, 3. Evaluating the effect of acute disease on nutritional intake, 4. Adding the scores from the previous steps to obtain an overall risk score, 5. Implementing a care plan based on the risk score.
