Apply the solution gently to avoid further tissue damage. Clean from the center of the wound outward in a circular motion. 4. Dry the Wound: Pat the wound dry with sterile gauze. Avoid rubbing, as this can cause tissue damage. 5. Apply New Dressing: Once the wound is clean and dry, apply a new sterile dressing.
