How Does the DOH Support Nursing Workforce Development?
The Florida DOH actively engages in initiatives to develop the nursing workforce. This includes partnerships with educational institutions to ensure the availability of high-quality nursing programs, as well as scholarships and loan repayment programs to attract and retain nursing professionals. The department also conducts workforce surveys to assess and address the needs of the nursing community.
