How Does NCLRP Work?

The NCLRP provides loan repayment assistance in exchange for a commitment to work in a Critical Shortage Facility (CSF) or as nurse faculty in an accredited school of nursing. Participants are required to work for at least two years in a qualifying facility or educational institution. In return, the program repays 60% of the participant's qualifying nursing education loans over the two-year service period. There is also an option for a third year of service, which can result in an additional 25% loan repayment.
