bioprinting

How Does Bioprinting Work?

The bioprinting process typically involves three main stages: pre-bioprinting, bioprinting, and post-bioprinting. In the pre-bioprinting phase, a digital model is created using imaging technologies like CT scans or MRIs. During the bioprinting phase, bioink—comprising cells and biocompatible materials—is deposited layer by layer to build the tissue structure. Post-bioprinting involves providing the printed structure with the right conditions to mature into functional tissue.
