Visit the FSA ID website. Provide a unique username and password. Enter personal information such as your name, date of birth, and Social Security number. Link your FSA ID to a valid email address or mobile phone number for account recovery options. Answer challenge questions for added security.
Once created, the FSA ID can be used immediately to sign the FAFSA electronically.
