Membership in Sigma is by invitation only and is extended to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate academic excellence and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in the field of nursing. Eligibility criteria include a minimum GPA and the completion of at least half of the nursing curriculum for students, while nurse leaders must have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing and demonstrate significant contributions to the profession.
